Our centre sets a higher standard in engineering education by appointing only professors and instructors with proven, on-site industry experience. Unlike institutions rooted solely in theory, our faculty consists of professionals who have worked where real decisions are made and real projects are built. This ensures our students learn directly from experts who understand current industry demands, practical challenges, and professional expectations—giving them a clear advantage as they step into the engineering world.

Techno Point Engineering Training Centre was established in 2008 with official recognition from City & Guilds and is one of the approved vocational institutions, 826809, in Yangon. Initially, the Centre offered three core programs: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. These programs are primarily designed for students who have completed 12th Grade High School, GED, or IGCSE qualifications. In addition to academic training, we organise annual extracurricular activities to promote student engagement & physical well-being. One highlight is our annual sports competition against other vocational centres, colleges, and universities. As the Centre expanded, we introduced over 10,000 skill-based courses tailored for students seeking direct entry into the workforce after secondary education. These practical courses are grounded in engineering principles and include specialisations such as Air Conditioning Maintenance, Electrical Wiring, Welding, & more. Since our founding, Techo Point has proudly trained & produced over 50,000 skilled engineers and continues to be recognised as one of Yangon’s leading vocational training institutions.
